This is something I really want to know more about. Last year, Italy’s specialized art theft squad seized over two thousand counterfeit works. This seems like a massive counterfeiting operation. The works were collectively valued at over $250 million. A lot of them were knock-off Banksys. Apparently, there is a whole world of Banksy fakes that sell online.
